Maze Game and Flappy Bird Codes

Its been a few weeks since 10PSD and I has been coding with Miss Anderson. The first coding game we learnt was the Maze Game. In this game there was blocks that gave us permission to (move forward), (turn left or right), (repeat as many times), (repeat until) and (if path do / else).  We had to get our character from here to there to continue to the next level. Our next game was the Flappy Game, and it wasn't as complicated as the Maze Game, but we had to flap our bird until it touched the red dot, also you could change the settings and the colour of you're bird to how ever you wanted it.

This week Mr Wiseman didn't give his maths class any work to do so we had to go on Mrs Ilaoa's site and do her maths work from there. Our problems are clock ones and is's really not the easy for me.

Monkeys

WALT - find more facts about animals

For the past two weeks my reading class and I have been finding more fact about animals. We had to chose one animal and write about it. I chose to find more facts about monkeys, "WHY?" because they are not only funny, but at can learn new thing that us students learn.

HUMPTY DUMPTY

Once upon a time there was an egg in the middle of nowhere, on the long green grass. It was really big as a rock, and also was too heavy to carry. A few years went past and the egg had somehow was out for a walk. It had a head, two arms and two legs like a real person. He named himself humpty dumpty because he liked the way it sounded.

2 weeks later, he finds a tower way up high. Then see’s two men standing on two sides of the big wide door. Humpty dumpty was welcomed by the king, then the tall tower had became his home.

One hot sunny day Humpty dumpty had sat on the wall. He was walking, jumping and also running on it. He didn’t see that there was a banana skin 3 meters in front of him. Suddenly he spets and slips on it, “WHOOO” Humpty goes flying of the big great wall.

All the king’s men was in the great tower doing their hair. Until they heard that their friend was hurt they couldn’t put Humpty together again. They laid him down in the big white room, with all his other pieces and cried their way out.

This week my reading group and I have been learning about inference. I know that a conclusion reached on the basis of evidence and reasoning.So we had to read all of the story's that were ion the slide. After that we need to read the question then answer it.   

Test Practice

This week I have been practising my math for my test coming up. Room 1's Maths class will be learning new things, and also we might get to know things we dont know.

My family trip

This morning my cousin, aunty, my mum and I are already on the road going to Palmerston North. We are heading down for a wedding. My brother and my other cousins will be coming tomorrow with the drummers, "Why the drummers?" Well we are performing for the wedding. We wont be coming back till Monday, but its going to be fun.

Church

It was Sunday and we have church like every normal Sunday. This time it was different, we started at 1:00 PM, when we really start at 10:00 AM. When everyone was there, a man that has been coming to our church for the pass 3 weeks, talked about him self when he was a teen. I really didn't hear much, because I had to go and get change into our Cook Island costume with my brother. We had to perform for our Pastor Benny last day at our church.

It was 15 minutes later and my brother and I was ready to go out in front of the church to perform. My Aunty said to me don't forget to smile and sway your hips as slow as you can. My brother went out first, and everyone was videoing. He did a Cook Island and Maori dance mixed together, with the "HAKA". The it was my tern. I did a solow dance for our Pastor. He was crying, and I didn't expect that. It was alright because I get how he feels.

After all of that, we got changed again, but back into our church close, but before that we took lots of photo's with everybody. When we came out They were like, OMG that was so cool, that was amazing, love your dancing, and many more nice thing's. They loved it, but mainly Pastor Benny. We had a feed, and took more Photo's, "IT WAS FUN".

The story of a blind girl

Today there was nothing to do, because I didn't want to go with my little brother's to an holiday program. I will be telling you a true story about a blind girl.

There was a blind girl who hated herself just because she was blind. She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She said that if she could only see the world, she would marry her boyfriend.One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her and then she could see everything, including her boyfriend. Her boyfriend asked her, “Now that you can see the world, will you marry me? The girl was shocked when she saw that her boyfriend was blind too, and refused to marry him. Her boyfriend walked away in tears, and later wrote a letter to her saying: This is how human brain changes when the status changed. Only few remember what life was before, and who’s always been there even in the most painful situations.Life Is A Gift.Today before you think of saying an unkind word–think of someone who can’t speak.Before you complain about your husband or wife–think of someone who is crying out to God for a companion.

So the point of this story was about the girl that not only was blind, but who has broken a boy's heart. He loved her so much she refused to him when he asked her out.

About Skids

"What is skids?" Well skids is an after school and a holiday program for kids to go and have fun. If your parents are not at home after school, then maybe you could go to skids. They feed you when you get there, and also take good care of you."How do I know?" Well my little brother's friends always went, and he wanted to go. My mum didn't know about it, so did I. He told us and my mum didn't only get him in, but me and my little brother. We have been going there for the pass 3 term, and is still going. You get picked up, and also dropped off. It is really good, you get to meet other student's from other school's and also get to have more fun.

The fist week of the holidays

It was the first week of the holidays and I had a lot of fun already. This morning I was told to get up early, because we were going to help old people that are needs.

Once we got there, we had to follow the rule's and what we should do. I got to help in the kitchen with a lady call Jady. She took me into a place where only the staff people were aloud. She told me how to cook different foods and many more. The men's that were there took my dad, uncle and my little brother, to the back of the billing. I didn't know what they had to do, but my mum and aunty had to leans how to change the old people. They learnt how to put them in their beds and their chair.

I learnt how to cook a lot of nice foods and also how to feed the people with my mum and aunty. My dad came back with my uncle and my brother. They said all they had to do is fix the chair of the pool, so people can go slowly into the pool without any damage.

It took us 7 hours and 40 something 5 minutes. We had lots of fun and my dad and mum was happy to do that for other people. It was an inspires for them. Hope u enjoy your holiday, and be safe.

Happy Holidays

Yea the holidays has started and I am up and going. Today I went to GI to help my aunty with the market. We first put up the table to sale our food, then went and got some salt. My aunty and I were selling sausage sizzle. While we were selling my aunty got me to run to the post stop to get so money out, so we have enough. It was 1:00 PM and we made over $50. We kept on going till we were told to stop. I had a lot of fun even tho it didn't sound like, but I hope you have a safe and fun holiday with your family and friends. Don't forget to help your family first before you do whatever you do. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

My Part In My Manaiakalani Festival

Hi Everyone.

This term Pt England School is making a  Film for Manaiakalani this year. Room 1 is doing a slow mo movie, with crazy things. My part is to blow bubble gum with my friend Akosita, as big as we can and wait for it too pop. It was really hard for us, because we has to try and blow the gum as big as we can, it just wouldn't pop or go big. So we tried again and again, and finally we got some good and awesome shots. So the point of our part is for the bubble gum to pop so slow it might as well pop in our face. Here is a video of me and Akosita blowing bubble gum for our movie in slow mo.

Manaiakalani Film Festival Plan

Kia ora, Malo e lelei and greetings to you all.

This term Pt England School have been planing, and making videos for Manaiakalani Film Festival. Manaiakalain has been going on for over 10 years, and here were are making one. Room 1's movie is about doing crazy things in slow mo.We all have different parts to the movie like, water balloons flying to someones face, a glass bottle falling onto a mousetrap and many more. My partner and I will be doing a video of popping gum. We will have to blow bubble gum as big as we can, and when it pops our teacher will put that part in slow mo, this is going to be fun. The Idea was out teacher Mr Wiseman's. He thought that this going the thing for us to do, and also thought that we would like it and we did.
