Basketball

“Have you played Basketball before?”
Well for the past 7 weeks, our maths class have been learning about Basketball. Basketball a game for fun, and also you could learn some cool skills. Our coaches are Vinnie and Shanice. They are the one’s whom have been teaching us Basketball.

“Hey,” do you know how to play Golden Child? Well, there are two teams and one team is running and the other team is shooting. The team that is running have to try and make it around the hall before the shooting team gets the ball in the hoop. If the team that is shooting gets the ball in the hoop, and you are still running then both teams yell out “STOP!”.  Then the last person at the back runs and if he or she runs then the rest of the runners runs with that person. After everyone has had their turn, the teams swap over.

Some of the skills we learned was Jump stop, The V dribble and the bongo drums. We practise Basketball in the hall. Basketball is a cool game, but you also can get tiring. Did you know that when you are play basketball your sweat runs down your back and it is kind of ticklish. Did you know that my favorite part was when we were playing golden child because our team won the game.

After we were play lots of games we all had lots of fun. Did you know that if you are not good at playing basketball then if you keep on playing basketball then you will get good at it and did you know that my teacher Miss Lavakula is so good at basketball too?

IT IS SO FUN TO PLAY BASKETBALL.

“Hey do you know what it’s like in Auckland when it is winter?”
Winter in Auckland is freezing and icy. It is the season for when people can get sick. It is so cold, you can hardly feel your fingers. The grass is wet and slippery. This morning I woke up and I was freezing cold, and most of my family had a red nose. What is it like in your country when it is winter? I think that it is kind of the same in our country.   “Winter Winter Winter”.

Math Problem

WAIT. Solve the problem and write it in your book so it can be mark.
Here is my Math problem I have solved with my buddy Amethyst. So leave a comet on my Blog Please.          Thank you.

The Blindfold Game.

“Hey guess what!” This morning Miss lavakula’s literacy class was playing. The rules are that you have to be blindfolded so that you can not see and also you can’t get help from your friend. But the most thing you can not do is chete.

“How to play the game?”
Each person had to be blindfolded. You have to try and find safety pins in a bowl with rice. There were six bowls. Also you have to try and get as many safety pins as you can out of the blow. If you get more than the other person next to you , then you win and you get a prize, and if you lose then you get nothing. So do not cheat by opening your blindfold.

My favorite part was when I heard that we were going to play a game. My least favorite part was when I only got 2 safety pins. But least I got a turn. The funny part was when My friend Amethyst just shoved her hand into the bowl and grabbed some rice with safety pins and put them on the papr.

Did you know that the game we played was the best game in my life, well not the best best game. It is just like the game I like and also when we were play the game. I felt like I was in a dark cave. What a fun game we play. What a long game we played. Did you know that when I got a 2 I got jealous because I was kind of the only one who had a 2.
